Chunk T-Shirts
In common with totally great concepts, the idea for Chunk occurred one Friday evening down the pub, way back in September 2000. One of the crowd had recently purchased an old Ford Capri MK I and with it, came a Haynes manual. So cock-a-hoop was she of her new toy, she took the manual to the pub where the whole group sat round admiring the cover until somebody said “wouldn’t that look great on a T-shirt”, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Chunk was established and quickly came to the attention of the top fashion stores, Harvey Nichols, The Dispensary, Richmond Classics, and the Chunk name grew quickly as did the range. Right from the beginning, the mission was to develop high calibre t-shirts at a reasonable price. Chunk chose to use iconic images adopting and adapting them to convey different contexts, making them clever or amusing or oddball.
Eight years later on and Chunk currently creates two seasonal collections a year, two injection ranges and brand-new t-shirt designs quarterly.
